Solvang ASA and partners have ordered 2 LPG/ethylene-vessels of 17.000 cbm at Meyer Werft in Germany. It was the same yard that in 1998/99 built Solvang’s two latest new buildings of this type.
The vessels shall be delivered during 3rd and 4th quarter 2007. Solvang will be the managing owner for the vessels with an ownership share of 25%.
The order confirms Solvang’s focus on specialised tonnage for transportation of petrochemical gasses.
