Environmental Drills
Environmental Drills are regularly carried out onboard all vessels and procedures frequently discussed in safety /protection and environmental onboard. All drills and meeting reports are sent to office for evaluation.
Reducing emissions to air
The operation of ships causes emissions to air but the company aims at reducing emissions to air to a minimum. The ships use seawater for cooling systems onboard. The seawater is not in contact with polluting parts in the process and residual oil is burned in the ship’s incineration plant or sent to destruction plants on land.
Low risk of emissions or leakage to sea
Sea transport of LPG and petrochemical gases lead to a low risk of emissions or leakage to sea. The loading and unloading operation take place in closed systems and stringent quality and safety requirements reduce the risk of emissions/discharges to a minimum.
