Safety Meetings

Safety meetings for the whole crew and safety meetings for shipboard management are completed frequently. The safety meetings are being used actively to discuss critical procedures and operations, unwanted situations, experience transfers, safe job analysis and observations from inspections, among others. The reports are sent to office for evaluation.

Actively use of safety videos is also an integrated part of these meetings.

Through these meetings, communication, awareness and motivation is enhanced, factors we believe is essential for maintaining safe working conditions onboard.

Event Handling

Event handling is a central part of our aim for continuous improvement both onboard the vessels and at the office. Through the reporting process, experience transfers and analysis we are able to put focus of attention were needed, revise procedures accordingly, secure appropriate training and transfer of experience throughout the organisation. 

All non-conformities, accidents and near accidents is reported though the Company’s Event handling system, STAR.

Our objective is zero accidents, injuries and losses.
